So a few short days ago I found myself at a college campus in Virginia visiting some dear friends and along the way I met another amazing gentleman. After a few days of getting to know each other we discovered that we had been cyber friends a few years ago via Deviantart...yes, that is indeed crazy!

All this to say, he said he thought I had died....and so I'm clearing up that rumor now.

I am indeed still alive. I have graduated college with a double major and am now living my dream job...or what has become my dream job. For those of you that heard my stories about going into international missions after I graduated let me tell you that my path has been full of twists and turns but I have discovered that God has something different for me right now and thus I am working at a camp....the very same camp I connected with 5 years ago. Right now I am interning but I am hoping to be on full-time staff starting in August.

I've fallen in love with middle schoolers and teens as well and am spending many of my days doing one-on-one ministry with a group of lovely girls who range from having an amazing home life and running fully after the lord to girls in the midst of custody battles and struggle to not hate themselves. It's a challenge but in all honestly I love it only because what could be greater than telling hurting middle schoolers and teens that God loves them and then proving it to them...?

That's a quick update on me and my current going-ons. For those of you that have facebook, I'm on that site at least twenty times a day (well sometimes it seems like that) and if you want to keep in contact that is a for sure way to find me. I'm afraid that my time on deviantart has come to an end....not that I'm not still doing creative things but they've moved from the artsy to the crafty....
